One of my favorite parts about being a New England engagement photographer is getting to plan engagement sessions that are unique to the couple. For Kara and Mike’s engagement session, we wanted to capture a more moody, mysterious feeling. As if you were heading to Narnia or somewhere just for them. We headed over to Whiting St Reservoir on a foggy New England day, dressed in our best flannels, to get started. The way the light came through the trees was just so mystical and beautiful! We had so much fun running around and exploring. Kara and Mike were so much fun and kept laughing and smiling the whole time. I incorporated lots of dancing and skipping in their posing and just tried to capture their free spirited attitudes. I can’t wait to see how their wedding turns out later this year! Thank you Kara and Mike for letting me capture this special time of your lives. I had a blast!

Like what you see? Make sure to take a look at this beautiful forest engagement photography while you’re here! And if you’re ready to schedule your own Whiting St Reservoir engagement, drop me a line here to get started!
