Barns are a plenty in New England for weddings but the Red Barn at Hampshire College is something special. Hannah and Erick chose it as their wedding venue for a relaxed summer ceremony. You might remember them from their backyard microwedding during the pandemic but their wedding part two was the perfect celebration. Tucked away in Amherst, the Red Barn is surrounded by green space and meadows.
Hannah was a vision in her BHLDN gown with the new addition of a stunning pearled cape. Erick, always dapper in his suit. After a light sprinkle of summer rain during portraits together, it was time to get these two married (again!). They shared vows and readings under a tree with the most magical floral installation by The Botaniste. After a short and sweet ceremony it was time to celebrate with their friends and family.
Inside the barn was a wonderland of wild flowers and trinkets. Hannah, being a ceramicist with Cosmos Pottery, created a number of trinkets and dishes. There were personal touches everywhere and you could just feel the love in the building. After dancing together as bride and groom and also with their parents, it was time for speeches. I love a good speech and Hannah’s brother truly nailed it, bringing along hilarious art created by a young Hannah.
Not one for cakes or anything too sweet, guests were treated to a strawberry shortcake bar after dinner while others chose to tear up the dance floor. This wedding was one for the books. Hannah and Erick did things their way and it was nothing short of a raging party.
