Ashley and Pete literally looked at one single venue when planning their fall wedding, the incredible Willowdale Estate in Topsfield Massachusetts. The Tudor Revival mansion tucked away in 720 acres of state forest is honestly one of my most favorite venues that I’ve ever stepped foot in. Everything from the vibe, the perfect tent and the staff are just *chefs kiss*. As a photographer, I was SPOILED rotten by this place (v. important because you know that a happy vendor means your wedding is going to be fire).

I’ve known Pete and Ashley for a long time and their love story is one for the history books, including an infamous middle school prom photo (wait til you see it) and a love that just feels special. Pete has a love for photography that rivals my own and knows his way around a vintage film camera like no one else I’ve ever met in my entire life. So when they reached out to ask me about being their wedding photographer I was shook and incredibly honored.

Let’s just say this day was nothing short of amazing. Ashley was a vision in her BHLDN gown and Pete looked dapper as ever (my assistant continues to refer to his wedding look as WWII RAF pilot going to a ball) in an Olive 9Tailors tux. Can we also just talk about the fact that colored suits are truly having a moment and I’m obsessed with it. I spent their rehearsal dinner with them, meeting their family and really just ingraining myself in their people before we woke up the next day and tackled their wedding. Also, if you haven’t thought about hiring a magician for your rehearsal dinner as entertainment, I 10/10 recommend it.
