In all the chaos of 2020 watching a couple get to experience their dream wedding is more special than I can describe with words. Originally Meagan and Cliff were supposed to have a large wedding on a farm in the fall, but COVID came along with a blessing in disguise when they were forced to downsize and change their plans. With a smaller guest list, they ended up planning a wedding at their favorite summer getaway – Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard.
I eagerly got on the ferry and headed to the Vineyard as a first time visitor, curious as to whether or not it would live up to the hype. Even with state ordinances in force there was definitely still a summer time magic to the place. Open, bright, lots of color and a certain charm that radiates as you walk through the old Camp Meeting Association.
Meagan and Cliff spent the afternoon with their closest friends and family with an intimate ceremony and an early evening meal at the Sweet Life Cafe (which FYI is the Obama’s favorite restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard), it was lush, full of color and overflowing with love. It was everything you could have asked for in a wedding.
