When I told my friend Tayjia that I was heading up to Byron to shoot an elopement she insisted I stay with her parents. They graciously let me in their home with Wish only having met me once while she was in Sydney for a grand total of five minutes.

Wish and Jim have shared this beautiful 30 year love affair that is hard to articulate but the type of love that people search their entire lives to find. It’s all consuming and one of the most precious this to witness and to even get that in a picture is a struggle. The easiest way I can even try to explain it is if you were to look up what “true love” is it would just be a picture of Wish and Jim sitting on the couch watching surf videos and sharing stories about their kids.
